The Seleção will play a friendly match against India in Kolkata on October 3. Before that, they will play two friendly matches against Australia.
Speaking during the squad announcement on Wednesday, Brazilian coach Carlo Ancelotti said, “Through these three friendly matches, we are going to begin a new journey for the Seleção, keeping our goals for the coming years, namely the 2028 Copa America and the 2030 World Cup, in mind.”
Vinicius Junior and Raphinha have been included in Brazil’s announced squad. They are joined by Marquinhos and midfielder Bruno Guimaraes.

Defenders: Arthur Dias, Douglas Santos, Gabriel Magalhaes, Jair, Marquinhos, Matheuzinho, Mauro Junior, Vitor Reis and Wesley.
