Bangladesh Set for Historic England Tour After 17 Years, Lord's to Host One-Off Test

Bangladesh are set to return to England for the first time in 17 years after the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) officially unveiled its international schedule for 2027. The tour will feature a one-off Test match at the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground in London.

According to the schedule released on Thursday (July 23), the only Test between England and Bangladesh will be played from May 28 to June 1, 2027, at the historic Lord's. It will also be the first Test match between the two nations in England since 2010.

Following the announcement, ECB Chief Executive Richard Gould expressed his excitement about hosting Bangladesh once again. He said the board is delighted to welcome the Bangladesh men's team for a Test at Lord's, while also looking forward to hosting the Bangladesh women's team for a white-ball series later in the year.

The Bangladesh women's team will also tour England in 2027, where they will play a six-match white-ball series consisting of three T20 Internationals and three One-Day Internationals.
